BIOGRAPHY

Following a career as a critical care nurse in New York City, Patricia’s love of writing and creativity propelled her into the healthcare agency world. Today, with 25+ years of experience, Patricia has helped develop award-winning creative campaigns, for both U.S. and global markets, and spent a majority of her career leading creative teams to do the same. She has a passion for mentoring and thrives on being a team player —challenging and being challenged to get to the best possible strategic and creative approach, for the best possible result.

  • ​ Began career as a critical care nurse at Lenox Hill Hospital,  New York City.

​

  • Transitioned into healthcare advertising at Sudler & Hennessey, New York City 

​

  • Moved to San Francisco where she worked her way up to Creative Director at Omnicom-owned agency RKR

​

  • Co-founded and led award-winning healthcare advertising agency Stratagem Healthcare Communications in San Francisco for sixteen years. Stratagem Healthcare Communications was named among top 50 healthcare agencies by Med Ad News for 10 consecutive years. Stratagem Healthcare was also named Fastest Growing Woman-Owned agency by the San Francisco Business Times, as grew from 3 employees to over 35 through multiple new business wins year after year. Patricia gained vast experience spanning virtually every category and marketing channel serving the pharmaceutical, biotech, diagnostic and device and consumer health arenas.

  • Led the San Francisco presence of New York-based DDB Health as Managing Director, Creative.  Mentored and developed strong creative teams, provided creative oversight and drove new business opportunities. Part of  NY DDB Health Leadership team.

  • Most recently consulted with FreshBlood Group to help expand this San Francisco consultancy into a full-service healthcare advertising agency. In 2019 was named among top 100 U.S. agencies by Medical Marketing & Media, and FreshBlood was also selected as one of the “Ones to watch.”
